This policy describes how we process personal data when you visit finpeak.se or contact us by email. When you enter into an agreement for FinPeak and start using the service portal, additional information about processing of personal data applies — this is governed by a separate data processing agreement.

3. Personal Data We Process

When you contact us via the email addresses on the site, we process:

Your email address
Your name (if provided)
Company information you share (company name, role)
The content of your message

4. Why We Process Your Personal Data

To respond to your inquiry
To possibly follow up if you have shown interest in a trial or demo
To fulfil our legal obligations if you become a customer

5. Legal Basis

Legitimate interest — to respond to people who contact us
Contract — to prepare for entering into an agreement
Legal obligation — for data we are required to retain by law

6. How Long We Keep the Data

Email correspondence is kept for up to 24 months after the last contact. You can request deletion at any time.

7. Where We Store the Data

All email is handled within the EU/EEA. We use Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited) as our email provider.

8. Who Receives the Data

FinPeak employees who need access to respond to you
Microsoft 365 as a provider (under a data processing agreement)

We never sell personal data to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI models or for marketing without your consent.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Request a copy of the personal data we process about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request erasure of your personal data
Object to the processing
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) if you consider that we process your personal data in violation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

10. Cookies

Our website may use cookies for basic functionality and traffic analysis. We do not use cookies for marketing or tracking without your consent.
